In the summer, the nearby natural lake of Issengo awaits you with plenty of freshness after an exciting excursion in the marvellous mountain world. In Issengo (around 5 km away), there is also a high rope course, where you can put your skills to the test. Moreover, also the cities of Bressanone and Brunico invite you to visit their climbing facilities and swimming pools.

In the winter, the nearby (23 km) ski resort Plan de Corones is a popular destination for tourists. Here, you will find many varied and well-groomed slopes. In addition, the region also offers beautiful itineraries for tobogganing and cross-country skiing. While your kids enjoy their first skiing experience in the local ski school, the parents may race down the slopes into the valley, past a snowy landscape. In the evening, you may round off your day at the Residence Treyer, for example, with a fine glass of wine reading a good book or playing with your kids in the lounge.
Winter activities in Terento
Just 200 meters from the Residence Treyer, there is the ski lift “Panorama” – see webcam. The ski lift is part of the Plan de Corones ski resort, so you may use it with a multi-day ticket from the area Plan de Corones. The panoramic lift is particularly suitable for families and children, with a slope that on some days is open at night. Other winter sports facilities in Terento include an ice-skating rink, a toboggan run, cross-country skiing and different natural toboggan runs, such as the toboggan run at the Pertinger-Alm or “Moarhof-Alm” in Hofern (5 km). Snowshoe walks take you through a beautiful landscape, for example to the Pertinger Alm and on to the yoke, to the Moarhof-Alm up to Grünbachsee or from the Rodengo Alp to Cima Lasta.
